I'm not talking about being held for something you did wrong. Have you ever been stopped by the police without breaking any law just because you look different ? I have, and believe it or not everyday there are more and more human beings that are being treated that way - This happens even to citizens in their own homeland.
I'm sure it's more than fair to have rules over travelling and living a different country than yours, but I don't see any sense in mistreating a person just because he/she is not on his/her Part of the big or small island. Ex: Mexicans in the US, Haitians in DR, Africans in Europe and Europeans in Africa etc.
If there were more honesty or wisdom between us, laws like this wouldn't exist; in fact they don't exist for certain people. But some other people will always suffer the most from these laws; one of the saddest truth in our reality.
Can we change something about that ? I believe as a people we could, but we can't even be a family, how will we be a whole nation/people. God divided us for a reason, I wish we were worth another try and live better with each other with no hate, no bullying, no differences.
I will wear this sweatshirt in memory of the victims of these awful laws. It won't change anything to be honest, but I'll wear it to be different and make the difference. I will wear it because I will always be part of the victims in this case, because I will never treat someone as an illegal person if not a terrorist; such thing doesn't exist in my world.
